My name is Sam R. Hall. I am a political and media consultant and freelance writer living in the suburbs of Jackson, Mississippi. My first computer was an Apple IIe.
Life on a Mac is aimed at the everyday Mac user, new switchers from the PC world and those lost souls still scared to make the leap from the world of Windows to the mecca that is Mac. (This site is also undergoing a make-over. You’ll see slight changes from time to time as I recode it. For now, I’m using Standard Theme (affiliate link), which is awesome!)
Life on a Mac will also explore the way I use my Mac for work and play. I’ll review the software I use and the software I test. (I’m a software junky. I’m always looking for newer and better ways to do things…)
My current Apple line up includes a 13″ MacBook, 24″ iMac, Mac Mini (used with EyeTV as a media hub), iPhone 4, iPad 2, Time Capsule and an AppleTV 2.
My wife, Tara, and I have three children, Joshua, Ella and Toby; and a cat, Hemingway. You can learn more about me at my personal blog, http://blog.samrhall.com.
